Rebecca S. Webber

Rebecca S. Webber was born in Lewiston, Maine, on November 15, 1958. She is a graduate of Williams College, cum laude (B.A. 1980) and Boston College Law School, magna cum laude (J.D. 1989). In law school she was Editor in Chief of the Boston College Environmental Law Review, was elected to the Order of the Coif, and received the Lyne, Woodward and Evarts Award for Outstanding Editorial Work.
Following graduation, she clerked for the Honorable Raya Dreben of the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She was admitted to the Bar of Massachusetts in 1989 and the State of Maine in 1994. She is admitted to the Bar of the U.S. District Court in both Maine and Massachusetts. Prior to joining our firm in 1994, she was associated with the firm of Palmer & Dodge in Boston.
She is a member of the Maine and Androscoggin County Bar Associations, the Women’s Bar Association (of Massachusetts), The Maine Trial Lawyer’s Association, The Maine Employment Lawyers Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association and is part of the leadership of the Women’s Law Section of the Bar Association. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, the Central Maine Resources Association, the Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, the Androscoggin County Advisory Committee for the Maine Community Foundation, and the Human Resources Committee for the Lewiston-Auburn YMCA.
She is an avid runner and ice hockey player and a doting and devoted mother.
Her areas of practice include Employment Law and Civil Litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation and trials. She provides mailings to our corporate and municipal clients on employment law issues and is a frequent speaker at seminars and business gatherings on employment law.
