About Us
Our firm was founded in 1931 by Frank W. Linnell who, during his forty-six year practice, came to be regarded as one of Maine’s finest attorneys. He had the pleasure of seeing the firm grow to become a responsible and respected member of the legal community of this State.
Within walking distance of the Androscoggin County Building, our offices occupy a building that was built during the Civil War as a private residence. From 1934 to 1964, when it was converted into our offices, it was owned and run as an apartment house by Sarah P. Linnell, mother of Frank.
The attorneys in our firm focus on areas of practice that allow us to offer our clients a wide range of legal services. We also have a dedicated and talented support staff consisting of legal assistants; probate, real estate, and litigation paralegals; an office administrator; and a librarian.
Although we have invested in current technology to assist us in delivering our services and creating an efficient and well-designed office, the practice of law still comes down to people delivering a service to those who seek it.
We are very proud of our people!
