Linnell, Choate & Webber, LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew P. Matulis, Esq. has joined the firm as an Associate. Andrew will concentrate his practice in the areas of criminal defense, family law, protections from abuse/harassment, child protective custody, and general civil litigation.

Andrew graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern Maine, Portland with  Bachelor of Arts degrees in Criminology and Sociology. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Maine School of Law where he graduated in the top ten of his class, was a Casenote and Comment Editor for the Ocean and Coastal Law Journal, and received awards for being the most distinguished student of criminal law, health law, and trial advocacy. After graduating, Andrew received the 2009 Kenneth R. Clegg Award for Excellence for obtaining the highest first-time score on the Maine Bar Exam.

Andrew is a former Deputy District Attorney who has more than twelve years’ experience litigating virtually all types of criminal cases before judges and juries. He is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Maine.
