recently obtained a Judgment in Androscoggin County Superior Court for Plaintiffs in the matter
of Robert Gagnon, et al. v. Jay Rodrigue d/b/a Appliance City. Plaintiffs and Defendant entered
into an investment agreement; however, Defendant’s actions and omissions resulted in Plaintiffs
filing a Complaint in Androscoggin County Superior Court. The nine-count Complaint included
causes of action for Breach of Contract, Fraud/Misrepresentation/Deceit, and violations of Maine’s
Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act. After a hearing on damages, the Androscoggin County
Superior Court awarded Plaintiffs actual damages, punitive damages, reasonable attorneys fees,
and costs.
